Guide 1: Cosmos & Creation

An Ethical Exploration of Creation, Chaos, and Calling in Genesis 1-11

Session One: Creation as Birth (Genesis 1) – God brings order from chaos and calls creation “good,” inviting humanity to join in naming and living goodness.

Session Two: Creation as Form (Genesis 2) – Humanity is shaped from the earth and called to serve and keep creation, not dominate it.

Session Three: Fracture & Rebirth (Genesis 3–4) – Eve’s agency and Cain’s choices reveal the cost of wisdom, human responsibility, and God’s enduring mercy.

Session Four: Uncreation & Re-Creation (Genesis 6–9) – The Flood as both destruction and covenant renewal, where divine grief gives way to mercy and life.

Session Five: Human Legacy (Genesis 10–11) – The Tower of Babel reframed as a story of difference, diversity, and God’s vision for human flourishing.
